Lucy Gail Benac arrived early on Monday morning at a whopping 9 lbs. and 6 oz. Here is the first of many adorable photos- this one taken by the "nursery photographer." Who knew they even had photographers lurking around labor and delivery? She was actually one of the first visitors on the scene, just moments after Lucy made her big debut. We held her off for a few days and in the final hours finally relented. Glad we did...

She's beautiful, and cute... and BIG! Big is better, more to snuggle. Congratulations to both of you.
Welcome to your new world, sweet Lucy!

What a beautiful girl! Lucy was on my list of names. If we had had another girl, she would have been Lucy Irene Arnquist. So John, next time you see James, talk to him about the joys of fatherhood! And Congratulations!!!

I can't believe how perfect this picture is! Penny was all puffy and red for at least a week after delivery - Lucy looks like a four month old already! She's absolutely beautiful :)

John and Mamie, What lucky parents - to welcome this little angel to your home! Mom and I can't wait to get out there for your graduation and see all THREE of you.

We pray about a lot of things, but Lucy's save arrival was at the top of the list and we all now thank a merciful
God for her advent on Earth.

Love you...Dad / Bill

Congratulations, John...what a beautiful child. The last time I saw you you were about ten years old but you have done very well for yourself. All the best to you and your wife and your wonderful family, who were so good to me back when I was a missionary in the Dallas First Ward in the summer of 1994.

My little boy Elijah was born just a few days before Lucy, on the 15th of March.
